This book offers a superbly illustrated look at the latest work of one of the most exciting artists to have emerged from the street scene. Dalek, aka James Marshall, is one of the most exciting and innovative artists to have emerged from the influential Brooklyn art scene in the last few years. He first came to prominence in the street scene during the 1990s with his unique 'Space Monkey' characters, developed during his final year at the Art institute of Chicago.

In 2001, he worked as an assistant for the world renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami during which time he created his own unique signature style. Since then Dalek has gone on to hold critically acclaimed solo and group exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and London and his work has appeared in almost every medium - from paintings and sculptures to skateboards.
